Explore Beginners Gymnastics
In the beginners class you’ll dive into the essential building blocks of gymnastics, applicable to a wide range of acrobatic sports such as acrobatic arts, dance, and tumbling.
Our program focuses on developing key attributes including flexibility, strength, agility, and power.
As athletes, you’ll establish a strong foundational skill set that not only serves as a cornerstone for gymnastics but can also be leveraged as you advance in gymnastics or pursue other acrobatic sports. During our sessions, you will learn:
- Handstands: Master the art of balancing on your hands, a fundamental skill for gymnasts and acrobats alike.
- Jumps: Elevate your ability to perform impressive jumps that enhance your overall athleticism.
- Spins: Learn graceful spins that add a touch of artistry to your routines.
- Forward Rolls: Build confidence in forward rolling techniques, a crucial skill for any gymnast.
- Cartwheels: Develop the agility and coordination needed to execute perfect cartwheels.
- Walkovers: Progress to walkovers, a fundamental move that opens doors to more advanced skills.
- Basic Partner and Group Balances: Explore the dynamics of working in tandem with others, a valuable skill for team-based acrobatic sports.
